Houston, Texas – LAW & ORDER is back for Season 25. Last season ended with a cliffhanger when DNA tied a murder suspect to the cold-case killing of Sam Maroun’s sister — but Maroun’s overstep made the ID inadmissible and the suspect walked. When that man later turns up dead, all eyes fall on Maroun.

We were able to chat with two of the show’s stars, Reid Scott and Maura Tierney, about the cliffhanger and what fans can expect this season.

The premiere opens with another murder. Detectives Brady and Riley follow leads that point to Sam Maroun and take the case to DA Baxter: did Maroun take justice into her own hands? Later this season, Price’s new girlfriend appears (and winds up opposite him in court), Riley’s brother Matt returns from prison, and Brady’s sons make an appearance.
