CHATHAM, Ill. (WAND) - The Chatham Fire Department has lifted its burn ban for the Village of Chatham.

CFD said Thursday that the area has received enough precipitation recently to resume burning activities.

The ban was put into effect Sept. 12 amid drought-like conditions across Central Illinois.
