HARRISON TOWNSHIP — Two Millville men were charged in the robbery of a Gloucester County Wawa early Wednesday morning, Harrison Township police said.

At 1:27 a.m., police were dispatched to the Wawa at 631 Mullica Hill Road for a robbery. The caller told police a man wearing a ski mask assaulted a Wawa employee, jumped over the counter and stole cigarettes. The caller told police the man ran along Lambs Road and got into a red SUV.

Mantua Township police found the vehicle, initiating a brief pursuit until the SUV became disabled in the 700 block of Lambs Road.

Matajh Johnson, 31, and Trayvon Evans, 28, were arrested by police from Harrison Township, Mantua Township and Pitman.
