One person was dead and another was injured in a collision at the intersection of Fallowfield Road and Eagleson Road in Ottawa’s west end on Thursday afternoon. Article content

Ottawa police said they responded to the collision between a dump truck and another vehicle shortly after 1 p.m. Article content Article content

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another individual was transported to hospital and a third person declined assessment, a spokesperson with the Ottawa Paramedic Service said.

Police were investigating the collision and said road closures might cause traffic delays in the area.
