YOUNGSTOWN A local bakery is serving up French pastries in Cornersburg.

Cerise Stone Mill Baking Company held its ribbon cutting celebration Thursday morning.

The family-owned business offers French croissants, specialty cookies, house-made pasta and other items.

Cerise carries the family legacy of brothers Marc and Alain Pisan who are both from Provence, France. Along with their wives, they established a flour milling and baking workshop.

They previously operated Renee's French Bakery in Canfield and French Street Café in Niles in the 1990s before opening Chloe's French Café and Catering in Santa Rosa, California.

Cerise Stone Mill Baking Company is located at 3500 Canfield Road in the former Subway restaurant.
