Joann is making a comeback with shops inside Michael’s stores

(CNN) –The arts and craft store Michaels is reviving the brand name Joann, its former competitor.

Officials at Michaels say it will have a “knit and sew shop” area with Joann signage at all of its locations in the U.S. and Canada.

They will also start selling Joann’s “big twist” yarn, which customers loved.

Michaels purchased Joann’s intellectual property earlier this year.
