BEREA — It was defensive tackle Shelby Harris who was responsible for the blocked field goal that set up the Browns ' Week 3 win over the Green Bay Packers. However, more than one person who was also on the field said there was another hand that may have played a small part in the big play.
That would be cornerback Denzel Ward. He came flying into the backfield off the left side of the Packers line.
Harris received full credit for the sixth blocked of his career. Ward, though, may have at least gotten a piece of the Brandon McManus kick. Buy Cleveland Browns tickets
"Yeah, I tipped it," Ward said Sept. 25. "Tipped it a little bit. But he (Harris) got that full paw on there though."
