MONROE, MI – A Michigan man is accused of an unprovoked attack in which he threw what was belived to be a lit stick of dynamite, but it was determined to be fake.
According to Fox 2 in Detroit , the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at Veteran’s Park on Custer in Monroe at 8:10 a.m. on Tuesday.
The victim told deputies that a 72-year-old Monroe man approached him an allegedly threw the fake dynamite on the hood of the victim’s vehicle.
When the victim tossed what he believed to be an explosive back at the man, the man pulled out a gun and ordered the victim to freeze before he went behind the Monroe Fire Station to fish, according to the TV station.
