PASCO, Wash. – Tri-Cities Animal Services in Pasco is hosting a unique event this Saturday, September 27.

The "Felines and Firefighters" event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., offering a chance for the community to adopt cats while connecting with local fire departments.

The event, organized by the City of Pasco, will feature fire departments from across the Tri-Cities.

This initiative aims to promote animal adoptions and foster a connection between the community, firefighters, and available-for-adoption animals.

Most of the animals available for adoption have been treated, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. '

The adoption fee is set at $50. Visitors are encouraged to check with staff regarding the availability of specific animals.
