CANORA - We attended our first meet on Sept. 15 at Deer Park Golf Course in Yorkton. It was very soggy conditions. It rained the entire day with a break for about four minutes while the U12 Girls were running their race. There was water laying on the track so that made for many splashes, muddy legs, clothes and shoes. The results were extremely hard to keep track of because the name stickers were wet, ripped or falling off. Many kids crossed the finish line without their name tag or knowing their placing.

Our next race is Sept. 26 at Saltcoats Regional Park.
