Seattle mayoral candidate Katie Wilson said she won’t participate in an upcoming debate on KOMO News because of a decision by its owner, Sinclair Broadcast Group, to not air “Jimmy Kimmel Live” after backlash from the Trump administration.

Wilson also said she would not spend campaign dollars airing advertisements on KOMO.

“I cannot in good conscience participate in an event that will drive viewers and dollars to a broadcasting corporation that colludes and capitulates, that collapses like a house of cards, under pressure from the Trump administration,” Wilson said Thursday.
