STATEWIDE -- Northern Light Health and insurance provider Anthem are continuing to clash amid contract negotiations, and with some services set to expire next week, many Mainers face growing uncertainty.

Tensions are escalating amid the ongoing negotiations between Northern Light Health and Maine's largest insurer, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Following recent mediation, Anthem made public statements claiming Northern Light Health abandoned the agreed mediation process, prompting a response from the healthcare system, who disputed their claims.
