AMAZON has hired an active NBA player for its studio coverage.

The streaming platform, Prime Video, will begin its coverage of the NBA for the 2025-26 season.

On Thursday, Prime Video announced it has signed All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry as an NBA on Prime analyst.

The 20-year veteran has penned a multi-year deal as he will be "making select appearances" this season.

Prime added that Lowry will also have "increased responsibilities in the future ."
