SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – It's already the highest minimum wage in the state, but Santa Fe's mayor said it's not enough for residents to afford to live there. It's a common problem that many expressed to officials during Wednesday's Santa Fe City Council meeting. Many of them say they work multiple jobs to support their families. "Living paycheck to paycheck and barely making ends meet," said one resident. "We work very hard to be able to live well, and we're just barely surviving," said another.
