LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -September is National Recovery Month, and this year’s theme is: “Recovery Is Real... Restoring Every Aspect Of Life.”
One local organization has been helping people in their recovery journey for more than six decades.
Since 1960, Mid-Michigan Recovery Services has been offering hope to those dealing with addiction.
For the past three years it has been housed In the old Moores River elementary school in the shadow of the famous board of water and light smoke stacks affectionately referred to as “Wink’n, Blink’n & Nod.”
