Commissioners are discussing a resolution that would set aside more than $13 million for improvements for Hamilton County Schools. It’s phase four of maintenance and improvements for these schools, and many have said they’ve been pushing for these changes for quite some time.

Hamilton County Commissioners have been discussing the next steps in their plan to maintain and improve our schools, including a $13.5 million dollars grant to more than 15 schools across the county.

Several of the commissioners showed support for the resolution, saying it's the will of the people and it should be done.

Some of these include bringing a turf field to Central High School, while others include necessary repairs.
