CASS COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - People from across southwest Michigan came together to tackle an ongoing opioid crisis.

The Southwest Michigan Opioid Summit took place at Southwest Michigan College in Dowagiac.

The one-day conference not only brings awareness but also fosters healing within our communities.

Leading experts were on hand teaching about local health initiatives, and data driven approaches to reduce harm and promote wellbeing, for those struggling with addiction.
