A threat sent Green Bay East High School into lockdown Sept. 25 after an alleged threat between two students, according to a letter to parents from East principal Lisa Lipp. The incident comes two weeks after a loaded gun was brought to Preble High School , prompting community concern about school safety.

The lockdown was put into place to allow administration to search for the student who made the alleged threat. The student was located off-campus about a half hour after the threat was made and was arrested. No weapon was found, Lipp said.
