Hollywood legend William Shatner left fans worried for his health after he reportedly suffered a sudden medical emergency at his Los Angeles home on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
The incident was connected to an issue with Shatner’s blood sugar, and he was the one who called for help as a “precaution,” his rep told TMZ .
Although the “Star Trek” icon, 94, later clarified that he “overindulged” and joked that the “rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated,” he still thanked his fans for expressing their concerns.
Besides starring as Captain James T. Kirk in “Star Trek” from 1966 to 1969 and in seven sequel films, the beloved actor portrayed the titular police sergeant T.J. Hooker from 1982 to 1986 and eccentric attorney Denny Crane in “Boston Legal” from 2004 to 2008.
