BATAVIA — One of the four female members of the Western Regional Off-Track Betting Corp. senior leadership team objecting to Henry Wojtaszek becoming a board member said they were motivated to speak out due to the company’s history of power struggles, hidden agendas and improper practices.

The longtime employee, who spoke on the condition that her name wouldn’t be used, said she and her colleagues sent an email dated Sept. 3 to WROTB directors expressing their opposition to Wojtaszek, the corporation’s former president and CEO, filling the Niagara County director seat recently vacated by Elliott Winter.
