WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) — The remains of a former soldier wanted in the deaths of his three young daughters more than three months ago were found in the mountains of Washington state, officials confirmed Thursday.
Forensic tests verified that the remains were those of 32-year-old Travis Decker, a suspect in the killings of his daughters, whose bodies were discovered in June at a campground in central Washington along with Decker’s truck, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office said.
Officials said Decker’s remains were found in a remote wooded area.
