BANGOR, Maine — People who are unhoused in Bangor could have fewer shelter options available this winter. Two warming centers that served the city last year will not reopen this season, raising concerns among local advocates and community leaders.

The Brick Church , a longtime provider of meals and temporary shelter, announced it will not reopen its 65-bed warming center this November. This follows the closure of the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter's warming center, which was confirmed last month.
