TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona has been tackling hunger for 50 years, but they need your help to continue their mission.

Join News 4 Tucson's Sean Mooney at the Hunger Walk taking place at the Kino Sports Complex on Sept. 27. The event will feature music, entertainment, healthy snacks, activities, and a walk to the Community Food Bank warehouse.

Residents can register for the event online , with check-in starting at 7 a.m., and the walk beginning at 8 a.m. Monetary donations can also be made online .

Today in Arizona, 1 in 5 children and 1 in 7 people are at risk for hunger. So get out, get active and give back!
