Four community members and businesses were presented with this year’s “Spirit of Palm Springs” award by Mayor Ron deHarte Thursday at City Hall.

The ceremony was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way.

The recipients were:

— Julieta Quinn, general manager at Spencer’s Restaurant;

— Lili Rodriguez, artistic director of the Palm Springs International Film Society;

— Pedro S.G. Rodriguez, executive director/CEO of Coachella Valley Housing Coalition;

— Marcel Ramirez, owner of Gabino’s Creperie;

— Erika Flannery, co-owner of Cafe La Jefa.

“These remarkable honorees represent the entrepreneurial spirit, compassion and commitment to excellence that make Palm Springs such a special place to live, work and visit,” said deHarte.
