The bail review hearing for Karl Danny Geiger, the 65-year-old man charged with first-degree murder in the September 15 killing of his ex-wife, has been postponed until Friday,

Geiger appeared in Baltimore County District Court Thursday afternoon, where he told the judge he expected his lawyers to be present. However, Assistant State’s Attorney Zarena Sita said she had not received any contact from anyone representing him.

After about 15 minutes, the judge informed Geiger that the two attorneys he referenced had not been retained in the case. Geiger then said he would apply for representation through the Office of the Public Defender.
