BATON ROUGE — LSU football sophomore defensive end Gabriel Reliford will miss the remainder of the 2025 season.

Tigers head coach Brian Kelly said on his weekly radio show Thursday night that Reliford has torn his rotator cuff and will have surgery next week to repair it. Having the procedure will end the season for the Shrevport native and former Evangel Christain Academy standout, who suffered the shoulder injury in the 56-10 win over Southeastern Louisiana last Saturday.

According to Kelly, recovery and rehab for rotator cuff surgery can be a minimum of three months and as long as six months.
