BUFFALO, New York — The UConn football team returns to Upstate New York on Saturday for a showdown with the Buffalo Bulls at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
Both squads enter the game with a 2-2 record and a strong identity.
Through four games, the Huskies have established themselves as a dynamic offensive threat that can find success through the air and on the ground.
Led by seventh-year senior quarterback Joe Fagnano – who has thrown for 1,046 yards, six touchdowns and zero interceptions – the UConn offense is averaging more than 37 points per game.
That’s in large part due to the contributions of senior wide receiver Skyler Bell, who has 445 receiving yards, and junior running back Cam Edwards, who has run for 500 yards on the ground.
Meanwhile, Buffalo boasts one of the toughest defenses in
