ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department worker accused of putting her hands on a teenage girl has lost her job. CYFD said it fired Dajae Robinson after she was arrested for aggravated battery earlier this week.

Police say she choked and punched the teen at a CYFD facility on Indian School Rd. before a security guard stepped in. Robinson had been with CYFD for seven months. Her bench trial is set for October 27.
