WATERBURY, Conn. — A new Price Rite Marketplace location is set to open next week in Waterbury .

The 34,000-square-foot store will operate out of the Waterbury Shopping Center at 881 Wolcott St.

Price Rite officials said it will bring 50 new jobs to the city, as well as top-quality fresh foods and a wide variety of products.

According to a release, the store will include a produce department with fruits and vegetables as well as grocery aisles filled with meats, dairy products, baked goods, frozen foods and national and private label grocery items at affordable prices.

The store will officially open on Wednesday, Oct. 1, and the community is invited to participate in a grand opening celebration.
