After three straight losses with Russell Wilson , Brian Daboll is rolling the dice on rookie Jaxson Dart in Week 4. But the quarterback switch isn’t the only thing Daboll revealed. In the next game, offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will take full control of offensive play calling.

When asked about his involvement, Daboll made it clear Kafka will continue to call the plays. “No, I have confidence in Mike (Kafka),” Daboll said . He doubled down on that trust, adding, “Those guys have met with Jaxson [Dart] along with me, and they’ve met separately. We’re going to do everything we can to help Jaxson be as good as he can play.”

Now all eyes are on Kafka, who isn’t just any play-caller. He’s one of the league’s highest-paid coordinators, pulling in around $3 million a year. And
