AUBURN, Ind. (WPTA) - An annual DeKalb County Free Fall Festival attendee and business manager are sharing their reactions to shots being fired at the fair on Wednesday.
Teresa Crozier says she’s been going to the fair since she was born, and last night she noticed something going on, but she wasn’t sure what it was.
“We started noticing it wasn’t just your usual jostling and stuff. They were actively yelling and very much pushing and shoving each other. There was somebody on the ground that they were hitting and kicking,” says Crozier.
Once she noticed something was going on, she grabbed her phone to call security, but before she could, shots rang out.
