LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A new manufacturing facility officially opened Thursday in northwest Lincoln, where agricultural products made locally will soon be shipped to customers across the country.

Timpte Inc., through its subsidiary Thunderstone Manufacturing, will operate out of the new building at the Lincoln Airport’s industrial park. The company will make semi-trailers, trailer tarps, marine accessories and other aftermarket agricultural tools commonly used in Nebraska and beyond.

President and CEO Tim Carpenter said Timpte had “outgrown” its previous site on West O Street and moved operations to the new location in May.
