WAITE PARK, Minn. — Minneapolis police arrested a man after Waite Park Elementary received a threatening phone call Thursday morning.
A man allegedly indicated he would arrive at the school with an "AR 15" gun and shoot anything that moved, according to the MPD.
The school was placed on lockdown, parents were notified and officers and SWAT surrounded the building, according to the statement.
Police say the man's vehicle was found in Missouri, where he was arrested.
