(NewsNation) — Newly-released surveillance video shows Bryan Kohberger visiting multiple stores hours after he murdered four University of Idaho students.

In the video first obtained by Gray Hughes Investigates, Kohberger is seen walking into Costco in a button-up shirt, pants, and sneakers. He is drinking from a water bottle and is stopped by the greeter.

After a brief conversation, Kohberger exits the store, seemingly denied entry.

"It's amazing to look at him, just walking around so casually knowing that he killed four different people earlier in the day," Hughes said before a "Banfield" appearance Thursday.

"And interesting how he has his hand kind of in his left pocket. And that's the hand that has the Band-Aid on it that was cut. So, trying to hide that as he's walking around."
