NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - We had a rather raining 48-hours, but Friday kicks off a drier streak into the weekend and much of the upcoming week in addition to lower humidity levels too.

Taking a look at FUTURECAST at who will see any rain on Friday:

The coast will see some lingering showers shortly after midnight then stormy in parts of Terrebonne, Lafourche and Plaquemines parishes around 4:30 a.m.

Plaquemines parish will see the last of the coastal showers around 8 a.m. then minimal "sprinkle action" may occur throughout our viewing area on Friday.

Friday will have high temperatures across the North & South Shores in the upper 80s:
