BRAINERD – A goal in each half was good enough for the Bemidji High School girls soccer team to pick up a Section 8-3A win.
The Lumberjacks handled Brainerd 2-0 on the road.
Mya Thompson buried a corner kick from Miika Novak in the 26th minute to put BHS on the board first. Izzy Renn doubled the lead in the 63rd minute with an assist from Kaia Christopher.
Clara Bieber made two saves in the win for the Jacks (9-3-1). Bemidji is now 2-2-1 in section play.
