LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - For students with hearing deficiencies or who are non-verbal, communicating what they need to their teachers or peers can be incredibly difficult. So, one Lake Charles elementary school has implemented a new method.
“Communication shouldn’t stop at the classroom door. It should carry over across setting to setting,” Elizabeth Rubino, a speech-language pathologist, said.
