LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A Louisville coffee shop is turning the spirit of Halloween into a season of giving.

Witches Brew Coffee shop has a board filled with pumpkins inside the store on Frankfort Avenue. Each pumpkin corresponds with a child, listing their age, size, and costume preference.

Visitors can pick a pumpkin and bring back the costume, so every child gets a chance to celebrate Halloween.

"I just wanted to do something because we had a really good month. I always feel obligated to give something back when that happens. So I just randomly came up with this idea that, you know, the kids some Halloween cheer," said owner Mariah Tran.

Witches Brew is also collecting donations for any leftover pumpkins. Those funds will go toward buying costumes for any remaining children.
