HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A pedicab driver says she and her 16-year-old son survived a violent attack in east downtown thanks to a can of bear spray.

Police are still looking for the men who they say attacked Reveta Fuller Sept. 5 in the 2000 block of Rusk. (Officers say there are three suspects, however, Fuller said there were four attackers.)

Fuller said she and her son had just picked up four men from Little Woodrow's when she noticed that their $40 payment hadn't gone through.

"I asked them about the payment, but they just got up, walked away," said Fuller, adding that she "probably got a little mouthy when I wanted my money."

That's when she said one of the men approached her son and grabbed him by his throat.

Fuller said she began punching the man to get him to let go of her son
