McPHERSON, Kan. (KAKE) — The historic McPherson High School Roundhouse is finally moving forward with repairs after heavy rain flooded the gym this summer.

During a Thursday board meeting, the USD 418 Board of Education voted 4-2 to proceed with permanent floor installation and upgrades to the detention pond system. The pond will be quadrupled in size to protect the building from future flooding.
