A statewide AMBER Alert was issued Thursday for a missing teen out of Marion County as authorities investigate a shooting in the area where he was last spotted.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Caden Speight, 17, was last seen in the 12800 block of SW Highway 84 in Dunnellon.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office said they responded to the same place to a reported shooting, and found the victim's vehicle, but not the victim.

Speight is described as 6 feet tall and 150 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing an unknown colored t-shirt and blue jeans.

He may be in the company of four unknown males, officials said, and traveling in a light-colored van.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts should call 911.
