VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) - Lowndes and Colquitt County’s 50th meeting all-time will be among the biggest in the illustrious history of the two programs.

Despite leading the series all time, recent history hasn’t been too kind to the crimson and grey. Colquitt County has won eight of the last 11 including last year’s heartbreaker in Moultrie. Coach Adam Carter’s squad comes into this contest 5-0 and sees the home showdown as an important test.

“I think we thought we should’ve won it last year. We got beat on that last second field goal by those guys,” remembered Carter of the loss at Mack Tharpe Stadium. “I think it’s a confidence thing I think our kids are confident.
