Mumbai is expected to witness heavy rain from September 27 to 30. The weather department has also predicted moderate rain for Mumbai, starting from today, September 25. An orange alert is in place for Mumbai, Goa and the Konkan region amid a heavy downpour forecast.

In view of the weather conditions, the inauguration of the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) has reportedly been rescheduled. The event, which was originally scheduled to take place on September 30, will now take place on October 30.
