A new survey reveals that Americans continue to hold specific industries in high regard, with other industries sinking to record lows.

The poll, conducted last month, surveyed more than 1,000 adults living in all 50 states about 25 key business sectors.

According to the poll, Americans’ views of business sectors remained historically weak overall, with just farming, computers and restaurants earning majority-positive ratings this year.

The farming and computer industries led Gallup’s annual ratings, with 60% and 59% of Americans, respectively, viewing them "very" or "somewhat" positively. The restaurant industry was the only other sector rated positively by a majority of Americans (52%) this year.
