MURRAY – Before the COVID-19 pandemic, many people took live performances for granted, whether it was concerts, plays or comedy shows. Comedian Jonnie W. said he thinks that after performing venues were shut down for months, and even years in some states, the American public was incredibly eager to get out of their homes and be entertained as soon as they could.
Jonnie W. is a Nashville, Tennessee-based comedian who will be headlining tonight’s 7 o’clock show at Murray State University’s Wrather Hall, kicking off the second weekend of the third annual Kentucky Comedy Festival. Different shows for the festival are being held in both Murray and Paducah, and the festival will conclude next weekend.
