SDG&E is answering for one of its truck operators caught on camera in a multiple-car hit-and-run collision.

The incident occurred around 2:30 Sunday morning on Manchester Avenue in Cardiff. Four parked cars were hit, at least one of which was totaled.

Four days later, a sideswiped Tesla was just now getting towed on Thursday after being struck by an SDG&E bucket truck and its equipment.

“Our neighbor said, 'I think someone hit your car,' " Sarah Adams said. "My first reaction was, 'I think it is a little bit more than a hit."

Adams' Honda CR-V was totaled. She said the damage was more than $10,000.
