MARTINS FERRY – The Purple Riders (2-2) are headed on the road tonight to Uniontown, Pa. This will be the third different opponent they have been scheduled to play in week 5.

The Red Raiders (2-3) are riding a two-game losing streak with setbacks to Taylor Allderdice (40-0) and Albert Gallatin (46-10). They lost to Laurel Highlands (27-0) in their season opener.

Victories have come against Perry Traditional Academy (12-8) and Brownsville, Pa. (34-27).

Brownsville was Martins Ferry’s originally scheduled opponent, but they informed Martins Ferry officials late Wednesday they could not make the trip.
