In his Sept. 15 op-ed in The Washington Times , U.S. Rep. Max Miller asserts that the National Guard must be sent to downtown Cleveland in order to enable his suburban constituents to feel safer in Cleveland.

My husband and I frequently attend a variety of Cleveland cultural events that include Guardians games, the Cleveland Orchestra, Playhouse Square productions and much more throughout the city. We recognize the possibility of danger and yet we see an increase in crime in communities far from downtown, as well.
