Not just the state. The Commonwealth.
It’s UMass week in Columbia, Missouri, with Massachusetts set to visit for Missouri football’s homecoming game Saturday, Sept. 27, on Faurot Field. The matchup against the Minutemen, in which Mizzou is a 42.5-point favorite in the betting markets, is the Tigers ’ last game before their first idle week of the year.
“The challenge for us is really to move on to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and play the University of UMass,” Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz said Tuesday.
And so it is.
Mizzou (4-0, 1-0 SEC) just opened Southeastern Conference play with a fourth-quarter comeback to put away South Carolina. The Tigers have never lost a home non-conference game under head coach Eli Drinkwitz. Looking for a free mini puzzle? Play the USA TODAY Quick
