VIKTOR HOVLAND reckons deep-diving into UFO conspiracy theories will help him sink more putts and find more fairways this week at Bethpage Black.

The Team Europe star has explained that his love for the unidentified flying objects stops him from obsessing over his swing and keeps his mind clear on the course.

Teammate Ludvig Aberg told the media that Hovland's unusual interest is often a topic of conversation in the European locker room.
